Her main area of expertise lies in dealing with capital tax planning, for example using trusts to mitigate Inheritance Tax and Capital Gains Tax for individuals, families and estates, especially those in the farming industry. Beverley’s down to earth approach and ability to explain complex and difficult tax issues in clear and simple terms, ensures that clients fully understand and appreciate the action required and its implications. These skills extend to all aspects of personal and family taxation issues, for which she has won widespread recognition. As a member of STEP (Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners) and the CLA (Country Landowners Association), Beverley keeps abreast of the issues that are of concern and interest to estate and other land owners.

Away from DSH, Beverley uses her knowledge of finance and tax in her role as a Governor of Thanet College and as a member of Rotary.

Beverley is the partner with overall responsibility for the firm’s Human Resource function.
