If only I knew then what
I know now
How many times have you said
that? And in business it can be
just the same.
If a customer or client fails
to pay you, would you have still
given them credit if you knew
they had a poor payment record?
Or if a supplier demands payment
up front and fails to deliver,
would you still have paid up if
you knew they were losing money?
And when entering into major
contracts, would you still do
so if you knew the other party
had only just started to trade,
or had a history of failed businesses?
Although many business decisions
are correct from the information
at hand, often too little information
is gathered in the first place.
And this is particularly true
when you look at the financial
standing and trading history of
prospective business partners.
By making a small investment
in undertaking company searches
on businesses, potentially decision
swaying information can come to
light that could save you hundreds
or even thousands of pounds.
